Hi, I'm Lauren Beard, a children's book illustrator with a passion for creating fun and whimsical artwork.

My work is hand-drawn with a mix of digital elements. I like to add lots of detail and humour for both children and their parents to enjoy when reading together.

I've had the joy of seeing my illustrations in books, magazines, newspapers, on products, and even inspiring a nickelodeon tv series.

My first book, the Fairytale Hairdresser, became a series, has sold over 900,000 copies and been translated into another language.

I'm based in Wigan, Greater Manchester, uk and live with my little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bronte, by the woods which inspire my drawings.
